The College places great emphasis on personal, social and health education and careers education through which we seek to help young people be as fully prepared as possible to deal with the world in which they live. Throughout the College greater emphasis is placed on vocational studies and work experience and where possible students are linked to appropriate courses in mainstream colleges often with additional support from the St. John’s staff. Depending on their ability students within the College follow these nationally accredited schemes, GCSE, Entry Level, NVQ, ASDAN Youth Award, FE Award and Towards Independence.
