Learners will normally be placed in classes and teaching groups according to their age and general level of ability. In the College the curriculum is delivered by subject specialist teachers although each student spends a significant amount of time with their year tutor. After an initial period of observation and assessment all learners will benefit from an Individual Education Plan (IEP). These plans will assist the teaching staff to set challenging targets and measure progress. Each IEP will be reviewed with the young person and their parents or carers at regular intervals.
