SCORCHING sunshine was the order of the day, allowing the first ever across site, St. John’s Fun Day to get under way. It proved to be a winner for all, as learners, staff and friends of St. John’s turned up in their droves to support the day and offer their encouragement to the learners taking part.

From ‘Egg and Spoon’ to obstacle races, swimming, tennis, bike races and silly relays, there was plenty of sporting entertainment on offer for the learners. 

A huge thank-you to Wendy and her team for providing a wonderful BBQ and selection of much needed refreshments enjoyed on the newly purchased picnic tables.

The spirit of the day was fantastic and it was brilliant to have the Mayor of Seaford, available to present a medal for all the wonderful participants. Finally, well done to the weather forecasters, as the rain arrived right on time at 5pm!
