St John’s is committed to working in partnership with other organisations to share our professional knowledge and to develop new opportunities for our learners.

We are very interested in building links with our community and are grateful to the local organisations who have worked with us to enable our learners to undertake work experience. Our young people have enjoyed placements at Makemedia, Raystede Animal Sanctuary, PDSA  and Hillcrest Nursery.

Learners at the school have also attended courses at City College Brighton & Hove, the College campus in Brighton and undertaken work experiences at the Crypt Community Café.

We are also pleased to provide professional and vocational placements for adult students and have accepted students from Sussex Downs College, University of Brighton and Malvern St James College in Worcestershire.
