Finally the Youth Club, which our young people have not been able to access since September, has been re-opened. It has been completely refurbished with a new kitchen area, an art area and places to relax. We were hoping that our celebrity visitor, Chris Collins, would be able to open it for us but unfortunately due to transport problems, he was running late. Rhys did an extremely good job of standing in for him, however, and made an impressive opening speech. The Youth Club has been equipped with a variety of games, puzzles, game consoles and equipment which was paid for by money raised from the summer fair last July ~ so thank you to everyone for your generosity.
