A message from the Principal / Chief Executive |
| As some of you may be aware I shall be retiring in August 2010 following some 35 years working in the field of special education, the last 16 of which I have been priviliged to spend here at St.John's School & College.
The Trustees have appointed my replacement and I am pleased to announce that Mr.Mark Hughes will take up the post as from 1st September 2010, Mr.Hughes has been in the teaching profession for thirty years, always within the field of special education, and for the last twenty years as a Head Teacher or Principal. Of course, I wish him every success in his new post and hope that he enjoys his new role as much as I have.
It has been a privilege to work with such incredible young people, supported by the management and staff of St.John's School & College.
Naturally I am looking forward to the benefits of retirement. It is,however, with some sadness that I leave behind the many learners, colleagues and friends that I have made during my time here.
