The School and College is regularly monitored by placing local authorities. We usually receive up to five such visits each year.

Summary of Inspection findings:

This is a self evaluating School with a clear vision. The Senior Management Team know the learners well and are keen to explore new initiatives and teaching techniques to meet the needs of all their learners

Strong inclusion policy within the School and 6th Form

The School has successfully addressed the issue of parental communication but it must be acknowledged that the very wide catchment area presents particular challenges.

Leadership of the School was described by OfSTED as being excellent. Our visit confirmed this view as it was evident that a clear and shared philosophy underpins a robust and detailed range of policies and practice which is rigorously monitored.

It [the school] may be recommended without reservation as a potential placement for pupils who have severe/complex learning difficulties and additional social needs.
