All pupils have access to the National Curriculum within Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. Pupils are taught a wide variety of skills in the core subjects of Maths, English and Science. These skills are used to explore the foundation subjects (design and food technology, History, Geography, Art, Information and Communication Technology, PE and RE.

St. John's also places great emphasis on personal, social and health education through
which we seek to help children be as fully prepared as possible to deal with the world in
which they live. All pupils will be involved in Standard Assessment Tasks (SATs) at the
same age as their peers in mainstream schools.
