AET training
St. John’s School and College is a place where learning is shaped around your hopes and aspirations.
St. John’s is excited to be a licensed Autism Education Trust (AET) partner for Brighton & Hove. We are licensed to deliver AET training modules to our own internal staff and to the wider community. We will be delivering sessions in the community from 2023.
The AET is a partnership of a wide range of individuals and organisations focused on improving the education of autistic children and young people. To do this, it actively engages with young people, parents/carers and practitioners to inform its work.
“We are delighted to have been given this opportunity by the AET to raise awareness of autism and crucially play an active role in raising the standard of autism practice, among our own staff and across Brighton & Hove,” Catriona Young, Learning and Development Manager at St. John’s College.
“We are currently delivering the AET training modules to our staff, who are supporting our children and young people every day. We will be offering the training to the wider community in 2023.”
If you would like to register an interest in booking training when it is available, please email Catriona Young.
Keep up to date with what our students are doing.
