Aloha from Seaford! What’s been going on?

St. John’s School in Seaford have been busy over the last few months. During lockdown, each week was a different theme, including a Hawaiian Day! These exciting themes kept our colleagues and children/young people engaged and perky during a difficult period of adjustment into life during and post COVID-19 lockdown.

Our school now have a new taxi parking bay on the grounds in the carpark, as below, making transitions easier for our children and young people.

The school celebrated Roald Dahl’s birth month in September 2020. Lots of activities took place in class and a competition for CYPs to design a chocolate factory. There was also a Roald Dahl themed dress-up day on 18th September 2020. Thank you to Charlene, Learning Support Worker and qualifications administrator, who organised and led on the celebrations and activities.

Our catering team in Harmonies modelling their new uniforms, all set for the start of term.

Masked up!

Quote from Fran, our headteacher, “We are so lucky to have two amazing culinary experts who look after all our needs at the school.”
