St. John’s School and College is looking for a Governor with particular interest, experience and skills in safeguarding and adult protection.
We have a very good and experienced safeguarding team but are searching for a Governor who will support and challenge us, specifically with respect to our adult learners and residents (19-25 years) . The successful candidate will support our strategic governance and have an interest and/or experience in adult safeguarding in education and/or residential settings. You may be in (or retired from):
• social work
• teaching
• disability services, or
• related fields, such as nursing.
St. John’s is a specialist school and college and a charity that provides education, care and therapy for children, young people and young adults with complex behaviours from 7-25 years old, based in Brighton and Seaford.
