The board of trustees of St. John’s School and College made the difficult decision to close St. John’s School in Seaford at the end of the summer term of 2023.
The decision has been made on the basis that the school has had a declining learner roll and has faced a challenging external environment which has impacted on its ability to recruit staff.
We recognise that this decision will have a significant impact on the school’s learners, parents and carers, and staff. We are committed to working closely with them and local authorities to support this transition period.

A transition team is in place to support students and their families move on to alternative provision.

The school site on Firle Road, Seaford has been secured. To contact the Premises Manager, email Kieran Harris here or call 07889 658775 (during office hours 9am-5pm).
Outside office hours and at weekends, Security & Event Solutions will be providing site security. In an emergency, they can be contacted on 07432 202701.
