Safeguarding

St. John's College is committed to promoting the safety and welfare of its learners. All staff members are expected to share this commitment and have studied all related policies and guidance.

Do you have a concern?

If you have a concern about how you have been treated or if someone has hurt you, you need to ask for help straight away.

St. John’s College has a team of people who will make sure that you get the help you need. The designated contact involved in ensuring and maintaining safeguarding is Lou Harman.

Safeguarding practices

St. John’s has very effective safeguarding practices and will take guided preventative measures to protect young people from the risk of radicalisation, extremism and forms of abuse, grooming and bullying. Young people are assessed and closely monitored with their use of the internet and educated in the risks associated with using social media sites.
